Hi, I'm Dr. Ambika Prasad Shah, Assistant Professor at IIT Jammu and leading the IC-ResQ Lab.
Dr. Ambika Prasad Shah is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering Department at the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu, India. He received Ph.D. degree from the Electrical Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, India. Before joining IIT Jammu, Dr. Shah worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Microelectronics, TU Vienna, Austria. He is the recipient of the Young Scientist Award from the M.P. Council of Science and Technology Bhopal, M.P. India. He received a Young Faculty Research Fellowship (YFRF) from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India in 2025. He was a recipient of the Best Paper Award at the 28th International Symposium on VLSI Design and Test (VDAT 2024) in 2024, Second Best Award at the 7th International Conference on Microelectronics, Circuits and Systems (Micro-2020), and was nominated for the Best Paper from 31st IFIP/IEEE Conference on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI-SoC 2023).
He has authored/co-authored more than 100 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences. He was the Conference Organizing Chair for VDAT-2022, Fellowship Chair for VLSID-2022, Publicity Chair for iSES 2023, and Fellowship Chair for AICAS 2023. He coordinates the VLSI Society of India, Himalayan Region Chapter. He is the associate editor of IEEE Transactions on VLSI Systems, editor of Nature Scientific Reports and IETE Journal of Research, and guest editor of Springer and Elsevier journals. He is a fellow of IETE, a senior member of IEEE, and a member of ACM, ISTE, ISCA, IEI, and IAENG.
His current research interest includes reliability analysis of digital circuits, Design for reliability, fault-tolerant circuits, reliability modeling, low-power high-performance circuit designs, and Hardware security primitives.
